Will I own the boiler?When entering the subscription offering, a boiler will be purchased and paid up front on your behalf You rent the boiler during the term of the agreement. Following completion of the agreement, you will have the option for ownership of the boiler to transfer over to you. Alternatively, you can opt to extend the agreement (availing of all benefits from your initial term), in which case ownership will remain with ERS At any time you can choose to purchase the boiler outright before the end of the plan, then ownership will transfer to you at that point

What if I want to sell my property during the subscription period?If you wish to sell the property whilst still under a subscription agreement, you will have the following options: - Pass the agreement obligation to the future property owner via a novation letter - Cancel the contract by paying the lower amount of: The remaining agreement value The cost of the boiler, minus what has already been paid through monthly subscription payments

When will my boiler arrive and be installed?We are committed to working on your timeline and can typically have a boiler installed by the next working day. Note some exclusions may apply on the basis of location, home access etc.

I am a landlord - does your service include a gas safety certificate?Emerald works directly with the leading boiler technicians in London who are Gas Safe registered Given we exclusively provide electric boilers and heat pumps, you will not require a gas safety certificate Electric boilers are not subject to building regulations and therefore there is no need to register or notify prior to installation
